JUSTIN MARK

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Justin Mark is a wildlife artist whose work focuses on capturing the individuality and character of each animal subject. Inspired by a deep appreciation for wildlife, Justin's artwork combines careful observation with technical precision to portray animals with a high level of realism, using mainly graphite and charcoal.

At a young age, Justin was selected as a winner in his age category in The Robert Bateman Get to Know Contest, formerly known as The Robert Bateman National Nature Art Contest for Youth.

In 2019, Justin fulfilled a lifelong dream of travelling to Africa to observe a wide range of animals in their natural environment, providing him with inspiration and close range encounters with many iconic species. In the years that followed, he was twice selected as a finalist in David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Artist of the Year global art competition.

Through his artwork, Justin strives to portray wildlife with the highest level of accuracy, authenticity, and respect for the natural world.
